In putting the final touches to the maiden Witch s In putting the final touches to the maiden Witch school class running tomorrow! I'm making myself chuckle and having so much FUN writing the lesson plans - I wish I could have done this class when I was younger. The little nerd witch in me who used to love researching and making little project books (i.e. bits of paper stapled together with hand-drawn covers) is clasping her hands in glee! I've been writing stories about mermaids and undines, spells to protect our waterways and little science sessions on our water cycles and how they relate to the natural world and our bodies. After all this, I will share Indigenous knowledge principles about water and some magickal and shamanic explorations to deepen our water connection. We will finish up with some meditation and learning watery self-care strategies🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️🧜‍♀️ I have had some international people who couldn’t make this session. Honouring the Innate Magick of Your Maiden: The Im Honouring the Innate Magick of Your Maiden: The Importance of Water Cycles As a teacher with 35 years of experience bridging the spiritual and medical worlds, it’s part of my soul work and cultural responsibility to teach younger generations. This morning I was thinking about the importance of water cycles and how it relates to the natural magick of the Maiden. Water is an essential element of life, and it’s deeply connected to our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. As Maidens enter puberty, they undergo a significant transformation in their bodies and minds. Water teaches us about the ebb and flow of life. It reminds us that everything is in a constant state of change and that we need to embrace the cycles of life to live ‘connected’ As Maidens learn about water cycles, they understand the importance of self-care, self-love, and self-acceptance. Water is also closely linked to emotions. Just as water can be calm and tranquil, it can also be powerful and tumultuous. As Maidens learn to connect with the water element, they can learn to soothe their emotions and find a sense of balance within themselves. At Maiden Witch School, we teach Maidens about the importance of water cycles and how to honour their bodies and the cycles of nature. We explore the magickal properties of water and how to use it in ritual and spellwork. We also teach Maidens about the science behind water and how it relates to their physical and emotional health. What if we never lost our magick? Or our disconnec What if we never lost our magick? Or our disconnection to the Great Mother. Or we felt we had to hide our power to stay safe. 🔥 Our children are our light and our way forward. They are our future keepers of Earth Wisdom, healing and magick. They are the leaders and teachers of our ancestral grandchildren.🌙🌙 The world’s energy is heavy and dense, with much pain and suffering. And stepping into the age of maiden can be challenging and full of pressure. More so than when we were maidens - society is a lot more complex. 🌑🌒 Our children are the wayshowers, so imagine the benefit if they could attend a class with someone who bridges the worlds, is a doctor, witch, healer and science nerd who honours our inner and outer cycles. Who honours our blood wisdom? I am cultural and senior medical educator reclaiming my ancestral rights and knowledge around women’s business as it is underpinned by Indigenous Knowledge Practices. I have reclaimed ceremony and ritual as part of my work in the world. And part of my cultural responsibility is to share knowledge with our maidens so they can learn spiritual tools that will help them in times of expansion and challenges. 🩸 Our maidens are full of potent magick in their womb spaces, in their blood and carry the creator energy of birth and rebirth. 🩸🐍 It’s part of my responsibility that they don’t forget.
